Spa within reasonable distance of London?

So I've never been to a spa hotel but love the idea of spending a night by myself somewhere where I can relax in pool, Jacuzzi, maybe have a massage... But the ones I've found online searching briefly are £200/300 per night!!

My budget is probably more £100 or a bit more for one night and I don't know if you can get anywhere decent for that money. I'd love a bit of luxury but not sure if you get that for that price. I've seen some good deals but not sure how good those hotels are.

Has anyone been on a good spa break within a reasonable distance of London (public transport only)? Would be great it if were in the country so I can do some walking with some lovely views, but I mainly just want to be somewhere quiet and relaxing away from everything!

Thank you! Smile

I think you'll be lucky to get anything resembling a luxury hotel near London for £100 a night, let alone with a spa included I'm afraid. You might get a deal on Groupon or similar but dates are likely to be limited.

I think you might want to look at hotels that have a spa rather than full on spas if that makes sense. Won't be quite so luxury but should still be nice! Maybe try Brooklands Hotel?

There are packages at Eastwell Manor from £100. You need to get a taxi from Ashford Station.

I went a few years ago and loved it. It's since been bought by Champney's, though, which slightly puts me off as I've not loved some of their other places.

Henlow Grange. It's a long walk from the railway station at Arlesey, but do-able. There are local buses too, but not sure of routes.

I think they do offers during the week.
