Meeting DP children today after just over a year together - no rushing here, we have a lovely relationship and I'm excited to get to know them. They already know about me and are excited too

I'm a mother myself. I know these children will not eat me alive

I don’t think there’s even any medication you can take ( apart from Valium!) because a nervous Tum is a ‘head’ reaction iyswim.

Can you eat your own body weight in boiled eggs before you go ? They tend to bung me up , although I get slightly windy fart like an elephant

If it’s soft play you’ll be fine - they’ll run off to play and barely speak to you. How old are the DC?

They're 9 and 11

My wee DS is 4..

They're well aware of my existence, they text to say thanks for Christmas presents and I send wee gifts occasionally so I'm hoping for a positive outcome today 🙂
