Anyone else trying to buy/sell in this market?
How are you finding it?
I put my house on around 3 weeks ago, and have had quite a lot of interest, but only one second viewing. I dropped the price by 90k within 10 days, as found a house we loved and owners wanted a quick sale but small chain, so tried to get lots of people to see mine quickly. As I say, lots of viewings but no offers yet :-(
Mine is a 3 bed in zone 2 London, on fit offers in excess of 650k
We’re looking to buy a 3 bed in zone 4 for max 500k. Our aim is to try to half our mortgage, to recession proof as much as possible, and also to enable DP and I to retrain in less stressful (but lower paid) jobs.
Anyone else? Seems like things are slowing, as we get closer to Brexit. This is the first Saturday that we haven’t had any viewings set up.
