Or do I need to go all the way out for an egg?

You can use watered down mayo if you have any. Failing that milk should do.

Don’t think oil would work. Maybe buttermilk and spiced flour? Rather than breaded? (Whole milk plus lemon makes buttermilk I think...)

Milk and oil don't stick that well - dh has an egg allergy and i have never found a decent breadcrumb glue replacement

Mayo works well.

BrieAndChilli · 02/02/2019 13:16

I’ve used mayo before

CottonSock · 02/02/2019 13:17

Maybe some mustard mixed in mayo would be extra tasty

Wolfcub · 02/02/2019 13:18

Pesto works

GirlDownUnder · 02/02/2019 13:20

Milk or yoghurt both work Smile

SunshineThroughMyWindows · 02/02/2019 13:20

I'll give the mayo a go, never thought of that!

Melted butter, milk or yoghurt (plain!) All work.

HoraceCope · 02/02/2019 13:23

flour instead of bread?

HoraceCope · 02/02/2019 13:23

or flour and water = batter, instead?
