Little things that make you cry

mine are mainly around animals:

When I think of how my rescue cat got into the rescue in the first place. (I don’t even know how as the rescue didn’t know but I imagine all sorts.

Then thinking about him scared and alone in the rescue pen

If I want a good cry I always just think of one of these!

WhT about you?

"Long Lost Family" - I'm not safe to be allowed watch it. Tears every time. I had a shitty family upbringing myself though and have my suspicions that I have a half sibling out there somewhere, so that might be something to do with it.

I'm 28 weeks pregnant so just about anything right now, but since having first DS, I cannot watch anything with kids being hurt/neglected (films, documentaries, etc). I was flinching watching the news yesterday when it had been reported a newborn baby was left in a London park in the snow! I just cannot bare it. Makes me cry every time.

Three legged dogs. If i ever see one being walked i have to look away as i just want to cry for it cheerily hopping along

I just cried reading the article about the town that have clubbed together to buy the horse sculpture that's been on their beach as part of an art exhibition.
Everyone chipped in, kids n all.
It was designed as a homage to the horses that used to pull the lifeboats.

It's all set me off.

Saw a man carrying his dead dog into the back of the vet's car.

The poor doggie had just been put to sleep and was off to get cremated.

I still can't think of the man stroking his beloved pooch's paws and ears without crying.

He told me the dog had had a good life Sad

The song Five Little Ducks. Proper tears, every week at rhyme time.

Elderly people in supermarkets on their own buying one of everything.

jusdepamplemousse · 02/02/2019 15:02

OMG yes five little ducks!

Poor, poor mother duck 😭, the worry.

Also, silent night. Unbearable to me since I’ve had DCs. Once sobbed in Sainsbury’s (pregnant but still).
