Idiom about problems

Can anyone remember the idiom/ saying that's something like

If man tried out other people's problems he would realise he prefers his own

That's not it at all but I can't remember it or find it and it's driving me mad. I need to find it for an essay!

^Those are two different links, similar quotes have been attributed to different people, I’m not sure which is correct.

Yes that's the right sentiment but am sure the phrase has something like "man doth" and problems being in a pot! It's driving me mad that I can't find it.

Yes I know what you mean, it’s something like “if all the problems in the world were brought together, many a man would be happiest to take back his own”. But I can’t find it either!
