How far in advance do you book your holiday and what is your budget!?

I am looking at booking a holiday next month for October/November.... location tbf but thinking maybe malaysia with my hubby! Budget £2500 incl flights.. we usually put it on a c.c and pay it off monthly!

Has varied a lot over the years.
We've always had to go in school holidays though, so less choice if you leave it closer to the date, and, for many years we've been booking for 5, so, again, a lot trickier than finding somewhere for a couple.

Usually we book around January or Feb and usually go in August.
