Sitting here choosing one as we don't have "a song"
Not sure whether to have a slow one or upbeat. All we have so far is Sunshine on Leith .....
I love most Scottish bands, rnb, soul, well most genres actually...help!

Don't Want To Miss A Thing by Aerosmith.
I don't think we picked this for any particular reason, and it has been ruined by being played at several funerals I have been to since.

Best friend by Queen

gemmiebaby · 01/02/2019 20:58

Westlife Swear it Again. We spent a lot of time apart when we were first together and this became our song. We walked back down the aisle to She's the One by Robbie Williams. Love both songs. I'd do our wedding day all over again if I could. Loved it!

Helpmedecide123 · 01/02/2019 21:02

We had Iris by the goo goo dolls

3boysandabump · 01/02/2019 21:03

The Hokey Cokey.

GiveMummyTheWhizzer · 01/02/2019 21:06

I walked down the aisle to "Little Things" by One Direction. We then exited the ceremony to "I luv u baby" by the Original and then first dance was "Say you won't let go" by James Arthur.

IWouldLikeToKnow · 01/02/2019 21:10

We had "When the Stars Go Blue". A close second was "You Do Something To Me" by Paul Weller. One of my favourite songs ever

IWouldLikeToKnow · 01/02/2019 21:12

Or, if you like Scottish artists, Paolo Nutini has a good selection.

Finlay Quay - love gets sweeter

DragonNoodleCake · 01/02/2019 21:19

True Love Ways - Buddy Holly. Wanted something that had already stood the test of time so wouldn't every seem cheesy looking back, and we both love him.

OneInAMillionYou · 01/02/2019 21:23

As per my user name, "One In A Million You" by Larry Graham. The Sam Dees version was also played during the wind down as we were about to leave. Love that song, always will.

HildaZelda · 01/02/2019 21:58

DH wanted The Police "Every breath you take" until I reminded him it was a song about stalking!

BotBotticelli · 01/02/2019 22:11

You got the love - Florence and the Machines version

Ribeebie · 01/02/2019 22:11

Teatimeted · 01/02/2019 22:16

@LeslieYep - we had Ray Lamontagne too!

NorthEndGal · 01/02/2019 22:16

@IWouldLikeToKnow - a fellow Ryan Adams fan GrinGrin

sola82 · 01/02/2019 22:22

Broken road by the Rascall Flatts. The words were really apt to my situation and the song meant a lot.

thefourgp · 01/02/2019 22:36

You Never Can Tell by Chuck Berry. We wanted something upbeat everyone could dance to.

sunnyday1976 · 01/02/2019 22:39

Another one with Amazed by Lonestar.
