HeronLanyon · 01/02/2019 20:40

raider was wondering ! That made me laugh. Thought you might be getting through them quite quickly Grin

mogulfield · 01/02/2019 20:43

Both DH and I were military-since married moved 5 times in the last 6 years, when I was single I moved 6 times in 4 years... including highlands, north Yorkshire, london, Wolverhampton, lincoln, st andrews, bedford, suffolk... I feel like I know the UK pretty well.
Getting any kind of contract (phone, mortgage) has been a nightmare.

Eleven houses/apartments. Born in the area I am now then moved to a different town when mother left my dad when I was weeks old then moved to a nearby council house. All before I was three.
Then she bought a beautiful house with my stepdad which we lived in til I was nine. Then they broke up and separately bought two smaller houses.
Then she met my second stepdad and bought a big house again which is where she still lives. A couple of years after they bought it we moved abroad to the ME then Thailand.
I meanwhile bought the small house from my stepdad which he had since moved out of. I lived there with my husband for about 8 years then we moved to the lovely forever home we are in now.

Phew, thanks for giving me such an unsettled life Mam!

HoppyHop · 01/02/2019 22:14

14 addresses. 5 counties. 2 countries. Not going anywhere for a long time.

Jjacobb · 01/02/2019 22:28

Up until age 11 - 10 houses
From 11 until 17 - 1 house
17 until 36 - 7 houses
For the last 21 years, 1 house which I doubt we will move from. I never wanted my dc to have the unsettled life I had as a child.

ginghamstarfish · 01/02/2019 22:31

37 I think at last count, in four countries. I'd move again tomorrow!

Dowser · 01/02/2019 22:44
