I have the most fleeting fragments of a poem swirling round my brain and I can't pin them down.
Things I know:
It's by a woman. I love Wendy Cope so it might be by her, but it's not a funny poem.
It's called something like, "Losing you is hard to master" or something. That line is repeated, I think.
In one of the very last lines, it goes,
"Something something, even if (say it) something something." It's "Say it" or "Whisper it"... Like the poet is forcing themselves to speak a truth.
Anyoe? MN is usually brilliant for things like this.
