Just enough money to never have to work again, even if I did have very little to get by on.

Thisisthelaststraw · 01/02/2019 06:23

To feel it.

Tidy house
And to feel loved

Currently sat on the sofa sandwiched between my kids who are playing minecraft together. Just bliss.

Feeling well, dc in compliant moods, intellectually stimulated in the day, peace of mind money to cover car expenses or boiler, and a holiday booked.

My children being happy. Having enough money to pay bills without worry. Family being healthy.

Getting out in Nature. It can be alone and just a country park. Getting to a beach occasionally.

Lying in the sun with someone who loves me, listening to birds in the trees, some for of water nearby, and having nothing else to do in that moment.

Sadly I am 0/4 on all that!

Simple things. Walking and feeling the warm sunshine on my shoulders. Spending time to look and appreciate nature, animals, trees, views, walks etc. Appreciating everything you have in life (may not have everything you wanted but to be grateful for what you do have). Sitting in the window of a coffee shop and taking time to appreciate the moment. I think it comes from within, slowing down and appreciating the moment.

Cuddling with DP and my dog on the couch with the fire lit after a long walk and shower. Maybe a glass of wine in the hand but tea works well too.

Himself works away from home so it is just me and dog for the week, so it's lovely to have him home on a Friday night.
