Has anyone changed from HRT patches to gel?

Im on Evorel50 post hysterectomy. Its working but there must be an easier way. I keep forgetting what day to changed them and they hardly stay on.

I dont know if its straightforward to swap over? Is the gel as good?

I swapped the other way but only becuase GP didn’t want me to increase dose above 2 pumps but would prescribe Evorel 100.
I thought the gel was fairly easy (apart from dire warnings not to touch males after applying), but I find the twice a week changing patches fairly OK. I swim every week and they stay on fine. I think I can ‘feel’ when it needs swapping anyway, if I leave it a bit late. I get symptomatic. Hate ripping them off though, and the black marks.

I went from an oral tablet to gel. Love it. Mine come in silver foil pre-measured sachets which I put on alternative thighs each morning.

Try using plaster and adhesive remover wipes, you can get them from amazon.

My gp will prescribe what i askbut i dont know what the gel equivalent is?
