Has anyone ever made a complaint to their GP's surgery regarding the incompetent behaviour of the receptionists? And if so,what happened? I have had an issue with a couple of the receptionists at my surgery. To cut a long story short, this issue has occurred on about half a dozen occasions over the last couple of years, causing me stress and inconvenience (it's to do with repeat prescriptions). I have made a comment on a couple of occasions,to the effect that I wasn't happy, and was met with a defensive attitude, and being told that it was 'human error, mistakes happen'.
My DD,who is also with the same surgery, had an incident a couple of weeks ago that could have had serious consequences, due to their incompetence,so it's not just me. I have told my DD that I am going to complain about my issue,as I am fed up with the whole business, and suggested that she do the same regarding hers. She said she wouldn't because she thought they would remove her from their list if she complained, and said that I shouldn't either! In other peoples' experience,is there any truth in this? Has this ever happened to a MNer?
