Is it worth the money, will a 2:1/2 year old (tall) enjoy it ? Do you have to go on all the rides with your child?

Tell me all about it please 😁😁😁

Most rides are over 95cm tall. It’s a great day out

Children under 1m tall get in free. There's lots of rides for all ages. It's not just Peppa Pig World (super busy in the morning but goes a bit quieter in the afternoon) that will be suitable for little ones. Food is a bit rubbish so we take our own. Summer is good time to go as there's a good splash water area

They will love it, it's a really nice theme park. There's other rides outside of the peppa bit that a 2y old can go on too. We got stuck on the peppa balloon ride, at the top, for about 20 minutes. Kids loved it, I was having a minor heart attack.

It’s fab for little ones! Go on a weekday in term time if you can. It gets busy on a weekend/in school holidays. Take a picnic as the food isn’t great to be honest. There’s plenty for little ones in the rest of Paultons Park too.

SweetPeaPods · 31/01/2019 19:04

They will love it.

Yes it's fab. If you can go on a weekday in term time, you'll almost have the place to yourself (check local term dates too as they may be different than in your areaGrin).

Best theme park we've been to, it's immaculate.
We went last July before the schools broke up and it was fairly busy but not crazy, maximum 25 minute wait but lots with smaller queues.

There's 2 splash pads so if the weather's nice take their swimming costumes.

PPW is ace. I'm gutted mine are too old for it now.

trilbydoll · 31/01/2019 19:28

Yes and even on a Saturday in May the main park was quiet enough for me and dh to nip on rides individually. Great place Grin

It's great, a lovely theme park. Very nice atmosphere as it's family oriented, so there are no gangs of teenagers like you get in some other theme parks. DS2 was just over 2 the first time we went and is now coming up for 7 - I think we have been once a year since, went last year in December for Christmas and had a wonderful day. The Peppa Pig bit gets very busy, so aim to get to the park before opening so you are first into the Peppa Pig section at 10am. If you want to do the helicopter ride, either do it first thing, or wait until very late in the day, as it takes a long time to load the queue time can be quite high. With a pre-schooler go on a random Tuesday in term time, as it won't be as busy. If you need to stay overnight, there is a Premier Inn 5 mins drive away.

There is some building work going on atm, so the big field which was useful for picnics is blocked off and the little train that circled round the park is currently not running due to the building works. Also, most of the Peppa Pig rides are the same as rides in the other sections of the park (just with different themes) so there is plenty to do outside of the PP section, we have always managed to fill a whole day from 10am - closing time, very easily. Just be warned that you have to exit through the gift shop, so lots last minute chances to spend money.

My 3yr old (ahem, and DH and I) really enjoyed it. I will never forget DS meeting Peppa and George, it was November, barely any one around so he got tons of attention from them both. Highly recommend

BigRedBoat · 31/01/2019 20:05

It's really good, the main bit of the park has quite a few bits for little ones and big ones, you can spend the whole day there.
