I need a gift idea

For a newly pregnant couple who already have a toddler. Ideally I don't want to get them something for the baby (they'll get that when baby comes!). I thought about baby sitting vouchers but want something funny/useful that isn't smellies or toiletries. Any ideas?

Personally, I wouldn't buy a gift until baby was safely arrived. It's enough to be happy for them and share their excitement.

Is this a thing now?

You are obviously lovelier than me. They'd be getting my best wishes.

I bought a pregnant friend a gorgeous necklace with a bell in it. Allegedly the baby gets to know the sound as it is at bump level and once it's born it finds it soothing. Or buy something nice for the toddler.

I'm sure you don't need to get them anything but how about offering to babysit the toddler so that they can go out for a meal?

Biancadelrioisback · 31/01/2019 20:06

@BeneathTheBoughs that's what I said though, I don't want to get them anything for the baby, I want to get something for them :)

@PurpleDaisies ...no? Why does it need to be a thing? They've had a shit time recently so I wanted to get them something small as a gift. Like I said, baby sitting vouchers (for the toddler) so they can have a break before chaos starts.

A book about being a big sister/ brother for them to read to toddler?
