We buy whatever is cheapest. Really cannot tell the difference. So usually own brand...unless (like this week) posh ones are on offer.

DramaAlpaca · 30/01/2019 20:03

I buy whatever is on offer of the posh brands, otherwise the Aldi ones.

Redglitter · 30/01/2019 20:03

I use Tesco all in one. Nice & cheap & do a great job

SoleBizzz · 30/01/2019 20:08

Good to know I can use supermarkets brands! I bought 18 fairy platinum tablets from Wilko for £3 and 10 Finish Powerball tablets for £1 from Poundland to try today. I used Finish tonight and it worked really well!

I just like the fairy all in one get it at home bargins they do good deals.

username10001 · 30/01/2019 20:31

Aldi or Lidl are fine ,

JiltedJohnsJulie · 30/01/2019 20:33

They're all pretty much the same apart from Asda's cheap ones which we have found to be useless.

Atalune · 30/01/2019 20:33

Finish power ball here!

I am probably a sucker but I don’t scrimp on some branded items-

Persil non bio
Vanish powder
Fairy washing up liquid
Method spray
Finish dishwashing tablets

ShatnersBassoon · 30/01/2019 20:33

Whatever's the cheapest of the all-in-one ones, usually own brand.

PineapplesAndTheGovernment · 30/01/2019 20:34

I use Finish powder

CakeNinja · 30/01/2019 20:39

We use the finish powerball ones after I spent a couple of years using the cheapest ones and having things come out slightly gritty or just not rinsed properly.
Sometimes due to overfilling or badly stacking it but I’m happy to pay the extra on the branded ones because it means that absolutely nothing comes out with anything crusty on it anymore!

SoleBizzz · 30/01/2019 20:42

Finish powerball tablets are 10 for a pound at Poundland Cheap or what?
I'm using Co-Op rinse aid and Finish salt. Also a Finish clip on freshener thing.

mostly i use whatever I can buy that isn't scented, for as many as possible. Usually £7/8 for 70ish

Home Bargains and B&M can be good for the fairy squishy capsules and mostly i get those, but recently we had some old styleeee tiny blue brick types from aldi, they were pennies and have been fine

We did have a farmfoods leaflet through the door though the other day and they were offering 200 (maybe 220) finish for £15 so i nearly went there just to get those, but we went to costco first and they had 2 x100 finish powerball for £15 ish so we got those instead.

SoleBizzz · 30/01/2019 21:10

MsMighty bloody heck thats a good bargain at Costco!

Fairy Platinum work really well with our dishwasher, I only ever buy them at half price.

Sforsh49 · 30/01/2019 22:12

Finish Quantum. Only ones I've found don't leave residue with our dishwasher. Pick them up when they're on offer and keep them in store!

JustMarriedAndLovingIt · 30/01/2019 22:33

Fairy Platinum. They’re great 👍

ShyTallSun · 30/01/2019 22:38

I like lidl all in one tablets....found some of the others left a funny taste or smell on the plates, etc especially on the eco wash program where the water usage is reduced....guessing less water used for rinsing?

IncyWincyGrownUp · 30/01/2019 22:58

Fairy, as they seem to work well and are often in offer. I tried the aldi ones, and while they’re fine for the longer cycles they’re not great for a fully loaded machine on a quick wash.
