Anyone live in cornwall?

Any recommednations on where to go for a special lunch? Needs to be family and dog friendly and just a little bit special. Thinking amazing wines, food, roaring fires and just somewhere you'd want to go for a special birthday lunch! thank you

Painter's Restaurant is a lovely, family friendly place to have lunch in Cornwall. I grew up not far from there and have had several family parties there. Don't know about the dogs, that might be restricted by the health code.

I live in Cornwall UK, but cant really help as I dont have a dog. Do you need it to be near somewhere as its a big county.

Forgive me, it was a bit of a joke.

I did grow up near there and it is a lovely restaurant if you're ever in my Cornwall.

We will be fairly central so happy to travel (and we do appreciate distances, we’ve stayed in Cornwall a couple of times). There are some amazing places when I look online and any number of famous chefs with restaurants, but still like a recommendation from someone living there I think. Thank you for replying
