okay-didn't know about these till a few months ago, and the series is nearly complete.

I cant order them online (long story) so trying to order them at my local newsagent who are happy to do so, however, I only want Doctors 1-7, and they dont issue them in order of doctors, so the help i need is....if you'd be so kind.......

the number of the issue isnt the one on the spine on the book, thats nthe volume number, its the number that comes on the cellophane wrapper, eg- i havev olume 12, which is Patrick Troughton, but the issue number is 67, so when Ive been ordering back iaaues theyve been coming in the number on the volume, not the issue IYKWIM!

So, could someone please tell me the issue number? its on the back of the book cover, at the bottom, the last 2 numbers after the bar code.

Like I said, I have vol 12, issue 67, so if you can find the issue numbers from William Hartnell up to, and including Sylvester McCoy Id be really really grateful.

Not intersted in any doctor after that, so it shouldnt be too much!
Ive looked on the website but it just says the volumke no, not the issue.
Thank you.

My husband is collecting these. I’m away tonight but when I’m home tomorrow night I’ll have a look for you if you don’t get an answer in the meantime!

Oh thank you! Id really appreciate it, we love these books and Id like to collect all the classic Docs but newsagent needs the right info, and they cant find it there.

It shouldn't take too long, and if your husbands a massive Whovian like us I'm sure it'll be fun for him Grin.

Thanks again.

That takes you up to vol 46 which is McCoy’s last story. However if you want the complete picture of McCoy on the spines you will also need to get vol 47 (issue 44) which covers the McGann movie but has McCoy’s arm on the spine....
Hope that helps!

Thanjk you so much, I think that's what I need. These numbers are the ones on the back cover after the bar code, yes?

I don't care if I don't get all the complete pictures of the the docs on the spines, I just want the books with the 'classic' doctors.
Thank tyou.
Flowers and Tardis.

BTW these are just docs 1-7 yes? if the newsagent orders back copies and theyre not the ones we want they lose money by sending them back, and they may refuse to order tham for me?

Yes just those doctors and yes it’s the number from above and after the barcode.
