Help me get cheaper car insurance

Been driving just less than 3 years (so only 2 years NC).
I had a small prang 3 years ago (as a learner).
I only drive about 4000 miles a year and have a small car. My insurance never seems to come down.

I’ve done a pile of quotes today. Can anyone recommend somewhere good to try?

-old gimmer--
I changed from Aviva to the RAC and have saved £120
I think my son was with churchill
you could always go direct to a site rather than use a comparison site

Do you have a partner who lives at the same address? I added my DP to my car insurance as a named driver when we moved in together and was amazed to find it actually knocked about £100 off the cost. Not sure of the rationale but I know other people who have had the same happen

Yup got DH on and he brings it down and done lots of quotes. Some of them are eye watering.

Reason I wish I had learned earlier so this was cheaper!

Add your dad as well.
He never needs to drive it, but it does mean it comes down.
