T-Roc or Arona

My car keeps failing on me and we've decided to replace it as we neee something reliable.

I really want a Volkswagen T-Roc and have been doing Carwow enquiries for finance quotes.

The prices are ok but higher than I expected.

I have now had a look at the Seat Arona which is similar but slightly lower ride height.
The price is quite a bit cheaper though as they are currently offering 0% finance rather than 5.6% which VE are offering.

I'm struggling to decide if the saving is worth going for the Seat which would be second choice rather going with my heart and paying a bit extra for the T-Roc.

Please talk some sense into me!

I picked up my Arona on Tuesday after having an Ibiza for 2 years, and it's lovely. Feels big inside, plenty of leg room for everyone and a big boot and it's good fun to drive. Really good entertainment system too, I don't know if that's important to you. I don't know much about the T-Roc but I would strongly advise going and sitting in an Arona before you decide- you might be pleasantly surprised!

See both in person and check out the reviews on Honest John.

I too would recommend going to have a proper look and test drive of both. I had the same choice to make, and went for the T-Roc SEL. I preferred it for a few reasons, but it's personal preference so do your homework.

That said. Of your heart is with the T/roc and you can afford it, go for it

I always wonder about the future value. Volkswagen always has the reliability factor and lower rates of depreciation than other makes - I’m not sure how Seat measures up??
