I have decided I don't like snow anymore.

Does this mean I'm grumpy and a boring adult now who just mutters about the weather??

It's very pretty but it's always in the way and blocking pavements and making hills icy. Although I have felt like that since I was about 10 Grin

It’s nice for about 5 minutes before I’ve had enough. And then it gets slushy, dirty and too slippy.

I get sick of hearing about it on the news constantly too.

I’ve never wanted to go sledging or snowball fighting even as a child, snow has just always seemed like cold hassle!

I accept I’m miserable about it but it’s no fun when you have to get on with things and live in a hilly area!

It's pretty but an inconvenience. Everything grinds to a halt and sometimes a knee jerk reaction by the media. When the weather forecast says "snow in Wales" it's not the whole of Wales.

Last March parts of the Gower had deep snow but Swansea was referred to the snow that never was. I've seen more of a dusting on a Victoria sponge.

I hate it too. It's fine if you can just stay at home and play, but if you actually need to get anywhere it's an absolute pain in neck.

I love snow. As long as I don't have to go out in it Grin

It's definitely more for looking at.

I still get excited Blush

As someone whose main hobby used to be skiing, I absolutely love it! Grin

I love it. Last year DS climbed all the way up the hill with his sledge and let go of it and just before he sat down, it flew down that hill while he stood at the top with a face on him. It was brilliant. I can't wait to take him sledging this year ☺

It's not snow that's the problem, it's the UK! We can't deal with our weather properly - in Switzerland (for example) snow is lovely and they have both the means to deal with it to stop it getting in the way of life, and lovely mountains to sprinkle it on, so everything looks beautiful... Aaah, snow!
