Hot Yoga

So I've been to two hot yoga classes now.

I really like it.

I'm not very good at it - complete yoga beginner - but I felt like i worked hard and enjoyed the stretches. I hope I'll improve as I go on.

My back, bum and calf muscles often get very painfully tight.

Will yoga help with sort of thing too?

I'm sure it will. I tried hot yoga and found it horrible and unbearably hot and nasty. I never returned. I have read somewhere that the heat doesn't have any particular benefits and normal yoga is just as beneficial - but I don't know how true that is.

I've just started pilates and normal stretching at home as I was becoming very stiff and unsupple. After I couple of months I can already feel a big difference. But if you like to sweat - go for it.
