Hi. I'm separated from my DC's father (never married to him) and DC's have his surname. Now in different relationship and due to marry for first time. I'd like to change my surname to that of future DH but of course that will mean I don't have name listed on kids birth certs etc. Has anyone been through this? I'm specifically concerned about being able to travel abroad with kids without huge issues re passport control etc. Thanks.
