Work - does anyone else feel like this?

I've recently almost completed some work that's been going on for months. I think it's made me quite stressed without me realising.

I thought it was done but after a couple of days someone asked me to amend something. Not unreasonable and fairly easy to do.

But I actually felt myself physically tense up when I read the email & I still feel like that now.

I can't help thinking that this isn't normal/healthy. Has anyone else found this? How do you manage it?

I used to have a job where things were quite stressful. I think i knew at yge time but only fully realised once I'd left. I've had 2 jobs since. Even now when I gwt an email asking me to do things even if perfectly normal part of my job I tense up a bit. It used to be lots worse. I think its a normal reaction to stress. How are you in your job otherwise?

Thanks! There are bits of my job that I really enjoy, but others that I don't. When I do the enjoyable bits I feel very "up". But the other bits really get to me without me realising just how much.

If only I could get a job made up of only the bits I like.

Yea i understand this! Ive moved into a different sector since the really stressy job. Its an area Ive always wanted to work in. Even still there are bits of my job I'm not keen on. And I still often get a little pang of anxiety if I get asked for things. I try to do a bit of self talk and ask why I'm feeling what I am.
