What shall I do with these tickets?

We have lived in this house over 5 years now and the mail for the previous owners is pretty much non existent apart from one or two items of junk.

Two Sunday's ago a lady knocked on the door saying that she used to live here and had a parcel arrived got them (she did live here as I've met her once before) as they forgot to update the address details and it's shown as being delivered.
DH opened the door to her, said nothing had arrived but if she wanted to pop back again in a day or so in case it showed up (why he didn't take her number to drop her a text or a forwarding address I don't know Hmm).

Anyway, said package arrived the next day, I signed for it knowing who it was for and put it up one side expecting her to show up soon.

This was nearly two weeks ago and the lady hasn't been back. According to the return address they're tickets for something.

Should I keep them indefinitely, hoping that she eventually comes back or send them back to the return address even though we said we'd look out for them for her?

Keep them another week or so.

You'd think that if the tickets are for an event taking place soon she'd want them.

Can you not try and find her on facebook to get in contact?

You could contact the estate agent you purchased through, and ask them to pass on a message or your number. They could have a number for the previous owners

I’d open the parcel then contact the company they were brought through for a refund (back to the original payment card obviously).

I've tried looking on Facebook/online but they're addressed to her parter who has quite a common name. Hers however is very unique but cannot for the life of me remember what it is or attempt to try and spell it.
