In a conundrum!

I'll try and make this short but just looking for some advice really. So me and my husband have quite a lot of savings in the bank, around the 25k mark! We have a baby and own a property that can be rented! Rent more than covers mortgage payments and other outgoings. DH and I have managed to get a year leave from our employment starting at the end of the year. My question is do we travel around Asia, South America, New Zealand, Australia for a year with our savings spending quality time together as a family and also ttc baby 2 which we are desperate for or do we purchase a larger property, the one we currently have is small and we would struggle for space if a new baby came along plus we dont much like the area. Spending our savings will put us on the backfoot when we return home as we will have to save up again for the larger house but it should only take us 1-2 years, we both have good jobs and we are in our twenties. Will we regret not taking this opportunity or will we regret being cramped in our little house having to build ourselves back up again? We can't decide what's best!

Does it have to be all or nothing? Travel for 6 months, don't spend everything, save and move when you're back and ttc then? Or move before you travel them you've got a base that you can rent out while you're travelling?

We would be renting out our current property while travelling so it wouldn't be worth all the hassle just for 6 months of travel, hmmm decisions!
