Evening all!
May I ask.......how many pairs of pyjamas do you have for your toddlers?!
I have 4 baby grows and 5 pairs of pyjamas in 12-18 months. Surely this is too many?! FTM so not sure.

10 and I still never manage to wash them quick enough 🙈

PinkDaydreams · 28/01/2019 20:16

😂 I seem to constantly have the washing machine on but the baskets never do empty, it’s like the fairies sneak more in at night!

It seems that pyjamas are the go to present for Christmas and birthday presents!! Lots all the same size as birthday is within a couple weeks of Christmas.
I’ve learnt for this Christmas/birthday now...either ask for a larger size or I must remember not to remove the tags so I can exchange! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Too many for this size and not enough for the next 😔

He only wears them just before bed and off in the morning so stay clean
(Still in nappies)

I’ve had real problems with sizes that family have bought him. They’ve all bought him 9-12 months even though he has a January birthday and he’s big! It’s so annoying as none of the clothes fit and the gifters haven’t kept receipts so I cant exchange (tried taking them back without receipt and was refused).

My DS is 2.2 and has 10+ pyjamas. He is very long with a tiny waist so even though they are a bit short on the leg, they fit everywhere else. Won’t be long and I’ll have to go buy some more. Agree with the PP about it being an easy thing to buy as presents. He has a November birthday too. After Christmas he had 4 new pairs

Nevergotobedfangry · 30/01/2019 11:59

My 13mo dd has 4 pairs of PJs and 2 sleepsuits.
My ds 3yo has about 12 pairs of PJs.
However, my ds cuffed pj trousers and T-shirts I will put my dd in!
I probably let them wear them max 3days. Who has time to do so much washing? Plus I get my DC dressed before having breakfast

ThinkPinkStink · 30/01/2019 12:02

We have 7 or 8 pairs. She usually wears them for two nights each.

Every wash seems to be filled with her PJs.

reluctantbrit · 30/01/2019 12:44

At that age maybe 2. She was in a sleeping bag and only wore them during winter when it was really cold. She more often wore a long-sleeve body and a larger long-sleeve top for the arms to stay warm than the whole pj set.

Yesterday I stopped myself buying pyjamas for next year in the sale as I know he will get them for Xmas and birthday Grin

My son is me at 12 and I am still as obsessed with buying him pjs as I was when he was a toddler. I buy them in the sale and size up. Mind you, I'm fond of buying pjs for myself a lot too

lotusbell · 30/01/2019 18:23

Nearly 12, not me as. And 12 years old, not 12 months Grin

kateandme · 30/01/2019 19:53

I wish I could buy more!i love pjs.

Bluebellsparklypant · 30/01/2019 21:45

4 pairs, put in wash every morning, it’s never ending isn’t it

Oly4 · 30/01/2019 21:56

About 8 pairs. They’re always in the wash. It’s about right for us
