Disturbing things toddlers say

Should I be worried that my just turned 2 year old suggested she needed some scissors to snip my head off after pulling on my head and saying ‘I pull mummy’s head off’.

She’s a bit into scissors lately and also suggested she needed some scissors to cut her hands off because they were dirty.

I’m not that worried because she totally doesn’t understand how to use scissors at all and is entirely incapable of cutting a piece of paper but nevertheless it’s a bit disturbing.

Is this normal? Do they all say such oddly violent sounding things when they start talking? Is this the sort of thing that just goes through their tiny little minds?

What’s disturbing about it?

She wouldn't understand. She would just think it was the same as pulling her dolly's head off

Is say that’s pretty normal. Nothing to worry about.
Imo they are pretty low on logic at that age. As well as impulse control - they just say what’s on their minds. Can be super cute or funny tho

My 3 year old says he's going to chop me into little pieces and 'fire my house down'. I'm not worried .... much.
