DH says this about most tasks relating to the kids and it's really beginning to grate. I come down after having a bath to absolute carnage and I get 'but it's soooo hard'. Really? I'd never have guessed.

'Well you'll never learn if I keep doing it for you. Put you big boy pants on and crack on'

TBDO · 28/01/2019 17:53

And your response? Yes, I found it really hard too. As they say, practice makes perfect, so crack on with practising.

RandomWok · 28/01/2019 17:55

What @TBDO said. My husband tried it on. He got told to practice.

VanillaSauce · 28/01/2019 18:03

Then he needs the practice to get better at it than you.

Yes that was my response. But no change. I need to try and arrange to not be here for a sustained amount of time (a couple of nights). It wasn't so bad before I went back to work.

My DH tried this about sewing nametapes. My response: nice try, but I'm just as shit at it as you are.
