Baby pramsuit / snowsuit or star wrap?

In an effort to streamline getting out the door with my newborn for a doggy walk, I'm wondering if I should buy a fleece star wrap instead of trying to zip baby into his pram suit which can take some time.

Can anyone recommend the star wraps? Are they warm enough for a stroll in the pram when it's cold ?

People on here rave about the star wrap. I’ve never seen one irl. I imagine a blanket can be chucked over the top on particularly chilly days.

I don't know what a star wrap is but it takes me approx 2 mins to get my baby into her snow suit and into the pram.

I don't have one but several of my friends do and speak pretty highly of them. I think they can also be used in car seats and slings/carriers

I loved the star wrap. It was less fiddly than a bloody pram suit.

We had a December baby by the way and it served him well until the cold weather finished.

I had a fantastic fleece onesie type thing from TK Maxx that was shaped like a snowsuit but a zillion times easier to get him into.

I love our star wrap but I wouldn’t use it on its own in the pram on a cold day, it would definitely need a blanket over the top. It’s great for the car (doesn’t compress and you can fold the front open so they don’t overheat) and for when she is in one of the seats on a shopping trolley.

I love our star wrap. I just use that with a blanket over the top. So quick and easy.

Fab thanks everyone, I'll order one :)

Star wraps are ace! I've been asked by 3 strangers this week where I got mine. Loads quicker than a pramsuit to put on. On a really cold day I'd want a foot muff over the top too for the buggy but fine for in sling.

Star wraps are amazing. Wish I'd known about them for DC1, not just DC2. Also wish they came in adult sizes instead of dressing gowns...
