Norwegian Fjords

I have been looking into booking a cruise around the Norwegian Fjords (with P&O) and struggling to find any reviews.

Has anyone been on one? Any tips?

Have you posted in the cruise forum?

Thought this was about the beautiful breed of horse.

Consider this a thread bump!

I’ve done a fjords cruise but not with P&O.

It was a really great holiday- stunning views, nice places to visit. At the risk of sounding like a spoilt brat by the end of the week we weren’t as wowed by the waterfalls and stuff as we’d seen so many but that’s not really a bad thing!

And it wasn’t a warm holiday- we went at the end of August and we needed coats and waterproofs- pool wise on the ship ds and dh used the warm hot tub type pools, small ds and I didn’t venture in at all! Still plenty to do though.

We've been on two. First time was gloriously hot weather, kayaked down the fjord. Second time the weather was more changeable and a bit cooler / rainy but we still had a brilliant time.

Stunning views, lots to see. Shops are a bit pricey and a bit 'samey' with tourist stuff but good for a mooch.

I'd go back tomorrow if I had the money.

Ah, I didn't know there was a cruise board - i'll try there as well, thanks.

Thanks to all. I'm not that bothered about the weather, I've done Iceland in the rain!! I was more asking about the boat itself - i'm really not sure about the cruise aspect but i've heard it's the best (easiest) was to see the fjords.

I did the fjords with p and o last year and it was amazing scenery!

It's fantastic cruising down the fjords, especially in the evening when the sun is setting and you've got a cocktail in hand after a lovely meal.

You don't have to go 'posh'. There's plenty of places to eat if you don't want to dress up. We love it, personally, because we don't go out much at home.

The entertainment is good and you can do as much or as little as you like.

Stunning place. We stayed in a hotel on Sognfjord. So peaceful and beautiful

My parents have cruised the Fjords many times with P&O and absolutely love it.
