Pringles. Am I correct in thinking the best flavour is sour cream and cheese, and that no other Pringle flavours come close to it?

I recently discovered the prawn cocktail flavour after many years loving sour cream and onion, but my god they burn my mouth. I can't eat them anymore, but they taste sooooo good

DrCristinaYang · 28/01/2019 16:11

Texas BBQ or Salt and Vinegar.

DemToes · 28/01/2019 16:11

PerspicaciaTick yes!!! What the hell is with the burning of the mouth? Shock

Never heard of the pizza one.

I wish they would bring out a marmite one.

Sour cream and chive or the xtra cheese one's ( black and green tube )

What dips do people like with them ?
I like Tesco's hot salsa with any of them
but then I could eat that with anything

Once you have popped you can't stop so they say so why do they put resealable lids on them ? ConfusedGrin

needsleepzzz · 28/01/2019 16:14

Roast chicken FTW, followed by Paprika
PS the walkers stax suck in comparison to Pringles

BBInGinDrinking · 28/01/2019 16:16

No dips here. We like our Pringles naked.

needsleepzzz · 28/01/2019 16:16

@justme10 there are hot and spicy ones??? In the UK??????

RavenLG · 28/01/2019 16:17

Prawn Cocktail.. so underrated!

Narya · 28/01/2019 16:17

The ones in the green tube. And no dips here!

Justme10 · 28/01/2019 16:18

@needsleepzzz yeah they can be difficult to find usually get them in Asda though, they are in a black tube Grin

HouseyMcHouseFace · 28/01/2019 16:19

The salt and vinegar ones are amazing. They’re so fabulously vinegary they make my whole face cave in when I eat them.

aquaviv · 28/01/2019 16:20

needsleepzz I have actually found the aldi own pringles to be the closest rival to the original pringles. Better than the walkers ones anyway.

@FoulMouthedMotherFigure I got pizza flavoured Pringles in Sainsbury's for Christmas, they were in a green tube, DS loved them. DH prefers paprika.

BBInGinDrinking · 28/01/2019 16:21

It wouldn't be our choice for Christmas, but there's even a Pringles Advent Calendar!

aquaviv · 28/01/2019 16:26

BBinGin Pringles advent calendar?? Shock

GetSchwifty · 28/01/2019 16:29

I like the tortilla ones. I also got emmental flavour in France and they were so good.

RussellSprout · 28/01/2019 16:29

Paprika by a country mile

RussellSprout · 28/01/2019 16:30

The pizza ones are rank

BBInGinDrinking · 28/01/2019 16:39

I don't think the cans are recyclable in household waste in the UK yet unfortunately, but you can recycle them via terracycle.co.uk/pringles.

EyeDrops · 28/01/2019 16:52

Sour cream and onion for sure.

Does anyone, ANYONE, remember a limited edition curry flavour?? Around 2009/2010? DH is insistent they never existed and I've made it up, but I swear they did and I tried them!! It's a recurring argument, still....

FoulMouthedMotherFigure · 28/01/2019 16:53

@gramgram - Sainsbury's have (or had) the pizza ones in at Christmas?! Thanks very much indeed for the tip!

...Now, if I run all the way there and all the way back, and don't stop to talk to any strange men, I could be home with a tube of pizza Pringles just in time to garnish my dinner! Grin

littletortoise · 28/01/2019 16:53

Jalapeño. Crack.

Rockbird · 28/01/2019 16:56

Sour cream. Although the Christmas pigs in blankets ones were bloody lovely as well. God I want Pringles now 😩

BBInGinDrinking · 28/01/2019 16:58

Yes, there have been curry Pringles. Curry and chips flavour, even! And curry masala, I think.
