Pringles. What is the best flavour?

Pringles. Am I correct in thinking the best flavour is sour cream and cheese, and that no other Pringle flavours come close to it?

Salt and vinegar
Prawn cocktail
Paprika

I like the green ones but can't eat more than a few, they are too rich. Bad after taste too.

fessmess · 28/01/2019 13:46

BBQ

TheKitchenWitch · 28/01/2019 13:49

Plain or Salt and Vinegar. The others aren’t really worth bothering with imo

Well. I used to be firmly in the Green Tube camp but I have discovered, courtesy of Ocado, Cheese Pringles. Oh my God. They are basically snack crack. Never seen them in the shops though.

Kemer2018 · 28/01/2019 13:54

Paprika

aquaviv · 28/01/2019 13:55

Pretty sure I have seen salt n vinegar pringles in Tesco, etc, recently.

Snack crack is certainly the word for Pringles Grin

Sour cream and onion of course.

RaiderOfTheKitchenCupboard · 28/01/2019 14:00

Paprika
Prawn cocktail
Salt & vinegar

TillyTheTiger · 28/01/2019 14:01

Sour cream by a mile for me. DH would say prawn cocktail.

SpunBodgeSquarepants · 28/01/2019 14:01

Buffalo Wing

Can only get them in the American section of the food hall in a garden centre about 15 miles away. Worth the trip.

kelper · 28/01/2019 14:03

Salt and vinegar. Unless you're DS then Texas bbq.
However, at christmas they made Pink Peppercorn and Prosecco Pringles. My sister and I couldn't decide if we liked them or not, they had a slightly vinegary taste, but not vinegary enough.
Very odd flavour

MashedSpud · 28/01/2019 14:03

Sour cream and onion, then barbecue. Salt and vinegar are nice but they make my lips feel dodgy.

aquaviv · 28/01/2019 14:07

Looks like sour cream is winning at the moment then. Salt and vinegar seems a close second.

Is there actually a bacon one? I've never seen it.

Paprika unless abroad or they are on limeted edition then its dill pickle.

BBInGinDrinking · 28/01/2019 14:26

Pringles seem to be part of the sneaky, disappointing and infuriating shrinkflation - smaller size for the same or bigger price?

  1. Original
  2. Cheese and Onion or Sour Cream and Onion

I'd like to try Cheesy Cheese or Xtra Kickin Sour Cream and Onion.

This does not fit with my healthy eating image, but it fits perfectly with my gin and wine drinking, cheese, cake, chocolate and biscuits eating alter ego

aquaviv · 28/01/2019 15:54

I know. Pringles go against my healthy body and eating philosophy too. I'm glad they have brought out the small tubs into general supermarkets now tbh.

Mmmm sour cream and onion. And I don't have any

DiddyLongLegs · 28/01/2019 15:59

Paprika!!

MrsTommyBanks · 28/01/2019 16:02

Sour cream and chive.

Thebasicweegie · 28/01/2019 16:04

I used to think sour cream and onion, but recently switched to salt and vinegar. I do enjoy the paprika ones aswell

Justme10 · 28/01/2019 16:06

Hot and spicy are the only ones I will eat love them Grin

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 28/01/2019 16:07

Sour cream and onion.

Paprika.

Quite like the Smokey Bacon ones.

FoulMouthedMotherFigure · 28/01/2019 16:08

Pizza flavour Pringles.

It is a complete and utter tragedy that they were discontinued around the end of the year 2000 Angry and I have never fully overcome the withdrawal pangs.

PerspicaciaTick · 28/01/2019 16:09

I can't eat the salt and vinegar ones. They chemically burn my mouth and the skin inside my mouth detaches and peels off after a few days. It is gross.
