TV: The Last Survivors

Today is Holocaust Memorial Day. BBC 2 is currently showing a documentary with some of the last survivors telling their stories and how it affects them and their families today.

Yet 1 in 20 people don’t believe the Holocaust happened. If you haven’t seen this programme it is so worth finding on iplayer. It’s one of the most moving programmes I’ve ever seen.

Watched it earlier. Moving and heartbreaking. It was also disturbing to see the impact of what happened on the survivors' children.

I think it was the impact on the survivors children which struck me the most. It’s not something I ever considered before.
