Internet dating

Hi all, just need a bit of advice. I tried internet dating a few months ago- POF and Zoosk and it was frankly.. disasterous to say the least! I had a guy message me to say I didn’t look good in one of my photos as I had too much make up on, got chatting to another guy- seemed to be going well as he put kisses on the end of his messages and then he suddenly blocked me mid way through a conversation! Another guy again seemed interested as he sent me his number then blocked me! Messages from men who were old enough to be my dad and I messaged loads of guys who just didn’t reply back. I didn’t go on a single date as the guys I liked clearly weren’t interested. 🙈 It just left me feeling really confused and quite low. However, I know loads of people with success stories so wonder should I give it another go but on different sites? Was I just too sensitive and need to be a bit tougher?!!! Or is that typical of all the sites?! Thanks xx

If you want a better standard of man you need a better standard of dating site. You get what you pay for - the free ones will attract people who aren't really interested and just messing around. Use a site which has a fee.

Good luck!

I used POF which is free but I also used Zoosk which is a paid site- as I had similar thoughts to what you’d said x

It really doesn't sound like you're the problem, OP, so try not to let the experience get you down. Try a different site which might be better aligned to your own interests and that is more geared up towards finding a partner than a fling.
