Hi everyone really not sure where to put this so please move/suggest if it's the wrong place
I'm a single parent with a toddler son and am currently working in a fast food chain part time to support the both of us
I've recently become interested in training to move into a career - I have a few in mind but I'm looking at apprenticeships. The issue I have is that I'm receiving tax credits and housing benefit atm and was wondering if anyone knew how it would work if I started an Apprenticeship re the benefits, if i would still be eligible due to the pay cut and the hours worked.
If anyone has any knowledge/experience of this I'd be really grateful to hear!!
