Evening Hoomans,

Today I arrived in my new palace ready to be waited on forever by my slaves. Trouble is, they don't know what my name is. Can anyone help them out please?

Pyewacket was the name given to one of the familiars in a confession allegedly obtained by the Witchfinder General - he wrote about it in his book The Discovery of Witches.

Your Mum was probably well aware of the historical context - which is where the writer of Bell, Book and Candle would have got it from.

Err @BabyKittenDoDoDoDo have those hoomans decided yet?

BabyKittenDoDoDoDo · 02/02/2019 16:08

My hoomans, the indecisive fools, finally told me my name last night. It is Margot. I am indifferent to it but I'm sure I will grow to love it as much as they do.

The hooman slaves are delighted with me because I get on so well with my big brother already. Here I am annoying him while he sleeps.

Thank you again for all the suggestions you gave them and more importantly for telling me how beautiful I am.

That is the cutest photo! I imagine the next shot is of the kitten taking a flying leap onto the belly of Big Cat.

All hail Queen Margot!

FogCutter · 02/02/2019 16:41

Hi Margot!

BabyKittenDoDoDoDo · 02/02/2019 16:42

Thank you for saying I am cute in photos. Here is another photo of me being cute and another photo of me being annoying.

You are really cute. I’m sure they will give you a good life (you may be a bit young for that reference but talk to your humans because there were sometimes birds in the garden you could chase on a screen called a television.)

steppemum · 02/02/2019 17:00

Oh I adore torties.

Margot is a great name!

(I was going to suggest Hepzibah, because she looks liek she needs a bigger than normal name, but Margot fits the bill nicely!)

Mother87 · 02/02/2019 17:10

Bella/Mindy/Fifi/Pwincess/Totty/Audrey (as in HepburnGrin)

Just had another look... Lola... Mimi...

LaurenOrdering · 02/02/2019 18:08

Ah Margot really suits her. She's gorgeous!

Sudename · 02/02/2019 18:14

Hi just saw this thread and was going to suggest Margo too

chickydoo · 02/02/2019 18:48

I think a Royal Name is required
Queen Victoria
Queen Elizabeth
Queenie
Madge

Weezol · 02/02/2019 22:23

Margot, you are beautiful. I am older than you can can assure you that once you get the hoomans trained (won't take long, in my experience they're not that bright) life can be quite wonderful.

Proof absolute. I dictated that very short piece to my idiot and it has a glaring error. She's a work in progress.
