Evening Hoomans,

Today I arrived in my new palace ready to be waited on forever by my slaves. Trouble is, they don't know what my name is. Can anyone help them out please?

Calico 🤷🏼‍♀️

Btw, you’re very cute 😻

What a lovely thread! This is the third "kitten naming" one I've been on this evening.
There's a very uncivilised "bunfight" about dogs on another thread Grin
Love dogs too!

She is a delia. She told me.

I just heard my slaves talking and they said they were very grateful for all the suggestions. Not as grateful as I am for all the compliments on my obvious beauty though, naturally.

They have a shortlist mostly from this thread:
Margot
Joni
Mabel
Meg
Scout
Beryl
Betty
Doris
Mavis
Hilda
Martha
Nora
Audrey

I heard them say that they will decide tomorrow and they will let you all (and me!) know what they choose!

Beryl = a mineral that produces precious stones that come in a variety of colours. I like Beryl.

Got to be Beryl Smile

...........................did I mention I liked Beryl?

Binglebong · 27/01/2019 23:03

Ooh I like Margot.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 27/01/2019 23:06

No - that’s Queenie. Not that she will degrade herself to answer to a call anyway.

Jb291 · 27/01/2019 23:08

Hello poppet. I think Martha would be a lovely name for a beautiful girl like you.

BabyKittenDoDoDoDo · 27/01/2019 23:09

I hope the hoomans recognise my need for a formal title as well as an everyday name. Neither of which I will deign to respond to, of course.

Queenie Elizabeth III, aka Beryl?

How about Hetty? After the female model from the Henry vacuum range.

macblank · 27/01/2019 23:38

Meg

I like that.

Very saddened that you didn't go for Maisey... lol

BabyKittenDoDoDoDo · 27/01/2019 23:55

The slaves love Maisey, but they tell me there's a human relative in the family that I'll meet soon with the same name!

@Piewacket.. i actually think your profile name would suit this royal puss! We had a cat called Piewacket. Think she was black & white. I have no idea where my mum got the name from but was prob Dickens as she was a huge fan

MouseUtopia · 30/01/2019 09:26
