@BooseysMom It"s from a lovely black and white film starring James Stewart and Tippi Hedren. "Bell, Book and Candle". Stewart falls in love with a witch and Piewacket is the name of her Siamese cat familiar. Good film, Jack Lemmon is in it as well.

Oops that should have said Kim Novak, not Tippi Hedren.

@Piewacket.. thanks for the info re. Piewacket. That would be the right sort of film for my mum to choose a name from. It's nice knowing this as she passed away two years ago and every good memory helps x

@BooseysMom Ahh, my much beloved Mum died twenty years ago. It's so nice when you come across a memory of them and think that they might be smiling down on it. (I don't personally believe in life after death as such, logically I know that it doesn't seem likely, but still that doesn't stop me feeling that she's watching me somehow.)

My Mum loved anything relating to witchcraft, she loved the series "Bewitched" and had a lot of books on witchcraft and herbalism etc. I don't know if she ever saw "Bell Book and Candle" as it never came up in conversation, but it would have been right up her alley.
