Do you have a playroom? Need storage inspiration!

We've moved and now have a small playroom. It's got a mix of trofast and kallax storage but it all just looks higgly piggly and the kids are growing so have more board games and Lego than little toys which I think the Trofast was more suitable for.

Any ideas/even pics would be so helpful! Dc are 4 and 7 so I feel it needs to be a bit more suitable and less "pre school room"

Not sure what your storage currently is because you’ve given names of items that I suspect are ikea and I’m not an IKEA encyclopaedia...but my similar age kids playroom has some bucket draw storage for Lego/play Mobil/crafts and an upcycled old book case which we use for board games etc. It holds lots and is easy for them to reach what they want and put away again. Or at least it would be if they weren’t terminally lazy Grin

We have 5x5 kallax & a 4x2 along one wall that takes the most of it. Also shelves for books. Will try pics later but think it's a mess at the mo!

I think maybe putting a desk in there would be handy for colouring etc. Sorry for using the IKEA names, piggy.

I was looking at Stuva in IKEA the other week. It seems to me you could get all the boxes bits in something like this or this and I would keep the trofast, maybe update the box colours?

I paid a carpenter to make us some floor to ceiling cupboards. Painted white.
Makes the room look much better IMO. Much less cluttered.
Wasn't too expensive.
