Do you have a Halcyan water softener (or know someone who does)?

Our property isn’t very suitable for a traditional salt based water softener due to having lead pipes. I’m not too concerned about the lead piping per se as I test the water regularly for lead levels and run off water when it’s been standing in the pipes for a while.

I just wondered whether anyone has had a Halcyan water conditioner/softener installed and if so, how they found it?

Thanks.

I think this is the one we have but i am not at home until Wednesday to check.

It can be a bit noisy but it really does soften the water a lot. (Honestly a bit too much for me as it makes my hair so flat - first world problems and all!)

Sorry sorry, DH has just confirmed this is NOT the one we have! My apologies.

Hi, did you get a water conditioner/ softener? Am looking at options and came across this thread, would appreciate any advice?

Summergarden, did you end up purchasing the Halcyan water conditioner? Interested to know whether it makes any difference and how it compares to salt water softeners as I am trying to choose the best solution for a house refurb.
