What is wrong with my leg?

My leg has been feeling really weird all week, kind of tingly and heavy, with a sensation that moves around from the ankle, to the calf, to the thigh and the foot.

It feels totally fine when I’m moving around but when I sit down it’s really irritating. There is no swelling or hotness and though it’s really annoying I wouldn’t say it was ‘painful’.
There’s no pain in my lower back either. At first I thought it was because I’d walked a long way in new shoes that I now think are too small but it’s not getting any better at all.

I’m a very fit and active person who is on the slim end of healthy weight.

I’m happy to go to the dr but to be honest I feel a bit silly going to just say my leg feels ‘weird’.

Has anyone else ever had this?

This is something that definitely should be checked out by the doctor. You should make an appointment.

Sounds like a trapped nerve. Could well have started because of new shoes, tight or not, if they are different to what you normally wear.

Try a massage, preferably someone else to do it.

DVT springs to mind. My ex had similar symptoms, his was definitely better when he was moving than at rest.
