Then discover how little they actually know how to do them and freak out because it's all so overwhelming and what were they even thinking trying to do something so complicated with no prior experience?

Yes. Completely and the more time I give myself to do it the less chance it will be done.

I have so many partially completed projects it's embarrassing.

This year I really want to focus. I have said for the rest of the year I am not allowed to start any new projects till the ongoing projects are actually finished (although two of them don't really have an "end").

I am motivated by all the projects I have, just scared I bite off more than I can chew and that I will choke on the gristle of their difficulty in comparison to my knowledge and skill levels 😩
