Handheld vacuum recommendations please

I have a toddler who seems to leave little trails of spillages and dirt.
Fed up of having to get the full size vacuum out each time.

Can anyone recommend a decent handheld under £100?

No pets here so doesn't need to be super fancy for pet hair just crumbs and dirt

Unfortunately, IME, the cheaper handhelds are really rubbish at picking up stuff. If you can bear to spend a bit more (or find a better price for it), I find the Gtech is just as good as our previous Dyson (so much so I'm seriously considering the full size vacuum cleaner when we replace our big Dyson this year).

I thought of going for the GtEch as the air ram is so good but the handheld version gets a few bad reviews.

Also not heard anything much good about the Dyson.

Which is why I'm thinking I might as well not spend the extra.

I've had a go on a 5 year old Vax model which is amazing but they don't sell it anymore, but was only £50 at the time

Has anyone decided to have a robot vacuum instead ?
