10 year cracked tooth - what to do?

DD1 was eating some bread and her mouth starting bleeding. On closer inspection it looks like she has cracked a tooth.

I think it's a baby tooth which will fall out eventually (the first molar)?

She says it's uncomfortable & it hurts a bit. Do you think she needs to see an emergency dentist today..?

I have no idea about teeth stuff! Pic to follow...

And she is 10 years old! My title wasn't very clear.

Ouch. If she's in a lot of pain try for an emergency dentist. If bearable then ring your usual dentist in the morning.

Thank you - she has calmed down a bit so we're going to hold out for the dentist first thing tomorrow...

Oh bless
Can you do salty water rinses (gently) until tomorrow to keep bacteria at bay?

I would not be waiting for tomorrow. It may feel better now but flare up this evening. I would rather be at an emergency dentists in the middle of the day than the middle of the night.
You may be lucky but I wouldn't take the chance. Also if it isn't a baby tooth you'll want to do everything you can to save it
