I thought it was a saying. Is it not a saying or is it just a shit username that nobody wants to use?! Shall I keep it for a while? Am I drunk and can't see the obvious typo?

Prolly cos the phrase is arse over tit? Or arse about. Not arse about tit.

Hope you had a splendid evening!

Arse about face = back to front
Arse over tit = fall over

ShatnersBassoon · 26/01/2019 23:18

It's arse over tit, or arse about face. You've got your arses jumbled, dear.

I still like it as a username though 👍🏻

I frequently use a phrase arse about tit , meaning somebody is done something cack handed or wrong way round
I.e. putting a jumper on and then putting a t-shirt on over the top is arse about tit.
Or putting jupmer in back to front is AAT

GrinGrinGrin thanks for the explanations I think that wine did go to my head!!

In fact I think we can safely conclude I am an arse! 😂 I will keep it for a while - it's an accurate reflection of my current state of mind!

I say arse about tit when describing something being done the wrong way round.

Angie169 · 27/01/2019 20:17

Or spelling jumper with the P and M the wrong way round is also arse about tit ! Grin

HunterHearstHelmsley · 27/01/2019 20:19

Arse about tit is definitely a phrase. "Going about it arse about tit" like doing something a convoluted way.
