Birthday party help!!!

I'm throwing a party for my son's 1st birthday which will take place in a hall with a bouncy castle and soft play equipment etc. My problem is, as well as babies and toddlers I also have a number of slightly older children coming (age 5-8, mainly energetic boys!) who I'm sure will love the bouncy castle but I'm worried they may go a bit mad and cause problems with the little ones on there. Can anyone suggest some ideas I can use to keep the 'bigger' kids entertained (and out of trouble) during the party? TIA x

We had someone "on the door" of the castle at all times. They would say "Little ones on now!" and just ban the older kids...they were told "Big kid time in ten minutes...be ready!"

They didn't mind at all and it's just safer. For the older kids, perhaps have some football games? To be honest, boys of 5-8 might be tricky...
