how QUICK does sick note need posted?

I got signed off on Weds (i didn't self certify any time).
I am newish at the Co and things are not going well.
I don't expect to continue there.
Sick note avail to collect from Friday pm so collected at teatime.
but I missed the post this morning.
Is it reasonable to post Monday to arrive Tues/Weds or should l drive it in (its a 40m round trip)?

Presumably you have been in contact with the company and they know how long you are signed off for? So the time taken to get the actual certificate isn't that important bu if will make you feel better give them a phone on Monday and say you were unable to get it in the post on Saturday but it has been posted now and should be with them mid week.

As long as you are ringing in sick and they know where you are then I’m sure posting it Monday will be fine.

Why didn’t the doctor give you the note when he/she signed you off?

Just take a photo of it and email to whoever needs it and hand in/post at a later date.

I accept that from anyone at work who needs one.

Yes, i will take a pic and email attachment and post on Monday.

I have already emailed both duration and reason but they are still phoning me daily to 'see how I am' (trainee in a lowly post) - stressful!
