I’m thinking of getting an extension. Can I ask for what you wish you had known? Wished you had asked the builder? Wished you had done differently?

Listen to your gut, if they dont feel right dont use them. If they contact you frequently asking when you will be ready, dont use them.
Try your best to get 3 quotes (this is hard as lots dont bother submitting a quote, answer the phone or even bother turning up).
Use recommendations if you can.
