Stupid question about an iPad

TchoupiEtDoudou · 26/01/2019 07:35

I have an iPhone and an iPad. The iPad is mainly used for surfing internet.

I need to replace my'phone and I'm thinking of getting a Samsung galaxy. Will I still be able to use my iPad???

Embarrassed at such a silly question but I am not very good with technology Blush

Yes.

Bluntness100 · 26/01/2019 07:38

Yes of course, the two are independent.

PeridotCricket · 26/01/2019 07:38

Yes. You can download most of the same apps but you’ll need s google log in for the play store on your phone.

Pringlemunchers · 26/01/2019 07:39

Are you worried about the internet connection ?

Bluntness100 · 26/01/2019 07:40

Sorry, I should have clarified they look linked Becayse you have your Apple account set up on both. Simply your account can be on your iPad only.

Brilliant thanks.

Not worried about the Internet connection but I know I had to log in with my Apple ID and I was worried that was linked to my iPhone. (I know it is but I thought it might get deleted or something)

You will, but you will have to buy apps twice if you want them on both devices, and I don't think you can get the apple apps like pages on Android (which is ok, they're awful apps anyway).

I don't recommend Samsung though cos of all the bloatware on their devices. I'd look at OnePlus and Huawei.

I moved from an iPhone to a OnePlus 5t a year ago, and it's the best phone I've ever had. I had an iPad and a MacBook too as well, but I've gradually moved everything over to android and windows. No longer an apple fan girl lol

What's bloat ware ?
